Julia Choi

Julia Choi is an Operating Partner at Prysm Capital where she primarily works with Prysm’s portfolio companies. Julia has spent her career in various operating and financial services roles. Julia has worked on the investment and operating side of public and private companies and is excited to help build the Prysm platform to come alongside entrepreneurs to help them achieve their visions.

Prior to Prysm, Julia worked in operating roles for eight years, which included Senior Manager of Global Operations and Real Estate Finance at Snap Inc. pre-to post-IPO, Chief Financial Officer at a privately-held Salesforce consulting partner, and Chief of Staff at a venture-backed digital health startup.

Prior to her operating roles, Julia worked in investing and financial services roles for sixteen years. She was a sell-side research analyst at Bear Stearns, covering the U.S. advertising and marketing services sector. She also was a senior investment professional at a Tiger hedge fund covering consumer, internet, technology, and retail companies in East Asia, Europe, and the U.S.

Julia earned BA and BS degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA degree from the University of Michigan. Julia was born in the Philadelphia area and currently lives in New York City. She is a loyal Eagles fan and enjoys the arts, skiing, and traveling with family.
