Jay Park is a Co-Founder & Managing Partner of Prysm Capital where he provides growth capital to disruptive management teams across the technology and consumer sectors.

Jay is passionate about helping entrepreneurs to do whatever is needed to realize their vision for their companies.
Prior to Prysm, Jay spent 18 years with BlackRock Private Equity Partners where he served on the Management and Investment Committees, helping to lead investing activities across the U.S. and Asia. Jay’s notable deal experience includes Chewy, Coupang, Alibaba, Habit Burger Grill, Spyder, and AIM Aerospace.
Prior to BlackRock, Jay was a principal investment officer with Merrill Lynch Global Private Equity focused on investing in the emerging markets, after starting his career in Merrill Lynch’s Mergers and Acquisitions department.
Jay earned a BS degree in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Brown University, and an MBA degree, with honors, from Columbia University. Jay was born in Seoul, Korea, grew up in New Jersey and now lives in the Princeton area with his wife and kids.
