Kerry Wei is a Partner at Prysm Capital where she provides growth capital to exceptional founders and teams across the technology and consumer sectors.

Kerry is passionate about working with disruptive companies at the inflection point of accelerated growth, and being a trusted thought partner to founders and operators as they create category-defining companies.
Prior to Prysm, Kerry spent some years at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) San Francisco office, where she was a Project Leader primarily focused on Tech Capital practice, advising funds and management teams. While at BCG, Kerry led teams and executed due diligence in industries such as enterprise software, consumer technology, and services. Kerry also spent a year in the BCG Melbourne office advising APAC clients.
Kerry is a Kauffman Fellow (Class 29) and earned a BS degree in Economics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, a Master of Finance degree from MIT, and an MBA degree from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. During her time at Wharton, she also spent time at a start-up helping the founder across marketing, sales, finance and operations, where she experienced first-hand the joys and struggles of entrepreneurship.
Kerry was born in China, grew up in the UK, and has also lived in Canada and Australia. She currently resides with her husband and son in San Francisco.
